About Fiber & Gift

Project: Fiber & Gift is a sustainable wrapping product concept that blends organic hemp fabric with the traditional Japanese art of furoshiki. Designed to replace single-use wrapping, the product promotes reuse, education, and environmental stewardship.

Challenge: To create a brand that not only offered an eco-friendly alternative to single-use wrapping but also communicated a deeper cultural and environmental story.

Strategy: I developed a brand system and a series of fabric patterns centered on sustainability and education. The packaging includes a story card highlighting furoshiki traditions and the product’s connection to reforestation initiatives.

Media: Product concept, brand identity, custom fabric patterns and story card insert.
