About Freshwater @ UW
Client: Freshwater@UW is a summer research program that connects undergraduate students with hands-on experiences in freshwater science across 13 UW institutions. The program supports mentorship, collaboration, and diversity to build the next generation of freshwater professionals.
Challenge: The program needed a visual identity that united all 13 universities while representing opportunity, connection, and the spirit of statewide collaboration.
Strategy: I designed a logo that symbolizes unity across the UW system and evokes new horizons in freshwater research. The mark reflects both the program's geographic reach and its forward-looking mission to empower students.
